In an interview with our long-time employee Mr. Cernota:

-You have been with FMG since August 06.08.1992th, XNUMX. How did you come to FMG?

"At the time, I was fresh out of a measure from the employment office and an acquaintance, who happened to be the son of the then managing director of FMG, asked me if I wouldn't like to earn a little money and arranged an interview for me. After that I was allowed to do a trial job and was hired.

-What were your tasks back then and how has your area of ​​responsibility changed since then?

“In the beginning I was just a normal production worker and built wheels, brushed them and did the axle machining. Then I took on additional caretaker work, such as mowing the lawn or heating. But since 1993 I have been working entirely in the warehouse.

-Why do you like working at FMG?

“I like the work itself. You also feel a strong connection to the company after such a long time. The bosses take you as you are and help with professional as well as private problems and always have an open ear and suggestions for solutions.
We all have regular working hours here and there is money on time every month, which is no longer the case everywhere. And I think to myself: This is a company where I can grow old!

-What have you experienced in your 30 years at FMG?

"All. Many have come and many have gone. I have witnessed a lot of conversion work and machine purchases, the extension of the hall and the new construction of the administration wing. At the beginning of my work I had a mini warehouse, now I have a very large beautiful warehouse. It's all changed a lot since 1992.

-A final word from you?

"I would start here again anytime!"
