Conveyor systems are mechanical transport systems for conveying goods. Depending on the type of goods to be conveyed, they can be divided into conveyor systems for piece goods (e.g. baggage carousels in airports) and conveyor systems for bulk goods (e.g. gravel). Conveyor systems must be adapted to the nature of the respective goods to be conveyed (e.g. density, grain size, moisture content).
